Introduction: Data Analysis with STATA
A practical introduction to working with data, producing descriptive statistics and graphs, Anova, OLS and interpreting results.
Practical training in data analysis, applied econometrics and research methods for students, researchers and professionals. The courses connect statistical reasoning with reproducible analysis in STATA.
Each programme integrates statistical reasoning, research design and reproducible STATA analysis around participants’ research questions and data.
A practical introduction to working with data, producing descriptive statistics and graphs, Anova, OLS and interpreting results.
Model selection, specification, interpretation and diagnostics, including linear, binary-outcome, count and panel-data models.
Moving from a research question and conceptual framework to data preparation, empirical analysis, transparent documentation and research communication.
The companion learning site brings together concise explanations, practical command examples and short videos. It is designed to help learners move between the research question, the appropriate statistical method and the STATA syntax required for the analysis.
